Good very early morning bloggers,
If we were in Wichita at midnight it would have been a very exciting next hour with torrential rain, lightning, and followed by a huge area of rain. Check out the midnight radar image:
But, we are not in Wichita. The thunderstorms are struggling to get closer to Kansas City. I am going to bed and when we wake up let’s see how this is evolving and setting up. The models went for a wet weekend and it still isn’t a certainty. It should get wet, but will it?

Not only do I see signs of it weakening the closer it gets, but I also see signs of the storm making the classic move where it goes north,and south of KC. Amazing.
Nope. It WILL rain in Kc tonight. No doubt about it folks!!!!! Yay!!! Much needed rain finally coming this way!
Not a chance these will get us, can only hope for re-firing later in the day
