Good morning bloggers,
An area of light to moderate rain showers has moved into northwest Missouri this morning. This weak disturbance came out of a complex of Wyoming thunderstorms last night. This will produce a few clouds today, but that is all. The next good chance of rain is still not showing up with the jet stream so far to the north.
The tropics are just beginning to become a bit more active this morning. We are just six days away from having the latest first hurricane in recorded history in the Atlantic basin. But, there are two systems to watch. One is Tropical Storm Gabrielle, which is over Puerto Rico, and the second area is over the Gulf of Mexico.
Back here in KC………….well…….not much! We are in a very long and boring weather pattern. Now, let’s watch a weak cold front that may back in from Iowa later this weekend. Have a great day!
