Good morning bloggers,
We are less than three weeks away from the first day of fall. And, since it is still summer we might as well heat up one more time. A warming trend will begin today and last into early next week. Today, high pressure has control of a large part of the nation:
The surface map, above, shows the forecast for 7 PM this evening. High pressure over the Indiana/Illinois border will have expanded to dominate the weather pattern which will make sure we have another great summer day today, and through the end of the week. As the high weakens and moves away we will warm back up into the lower 90s by the weekend. The weather pattern is beginning to go through a very long transition, but for now we are still being dominated by last year’s weather pattern which will keep the chance of rain very low until further notice.
Have a great day! We will be in search of changes and discuss what we find on 41 Action News tonight. At least the weather is excellent for the KC Royals home-stand this week, and it could stay dry all the way into the Chiefs home opener against the Cowboys a week from Sunday.
